A red postal van is prepared for examina
Maidstone, UNITED KINGDOM: A red postal van is prepared for examination by police forensic officers, 24 February 2006 near Maidstone, in Kent. The van, found abandoned at the Hook and Hatchet pub in the village of Hucking, is thought to have been used by the armed robbers to abduct a Securitas depot manager, his wife and eight-year-old son before carrying out possibly Britain's biggest-ever robbery, involving up to 50 million pounds (73.5 million euros, 87.5 million dollars) snatched from the cash depot in southeast England on Tuesday night. Kent Police said a 41-year-old woman was being questioned on suspicion of handling stolen goods after she was detained on Thursday at a building society (credit union) in the south London suburb of Bromley. Two other people -- a 29-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman -- were also arrested Thursday in connection with Tuesday's armed raid on the Securitas cash depot in Tonbridge, southeast of London.
