The Queen And Prince Of Wales Attend The Order Of Bath Service

LONDON - MAY 17: Lieutenant Colonel Sir Malcolm Ross arrives to attend the Order of the Bath service at Westminster Abbey on May 17, 2006 in London. The Order of the Bath in its present form dates from 1725 and has used Henry VII's Chapel in Westminster Abbey as its chapel. The Knights Grand Cross of the Order are usually people with distinguished military careers. They are assigned a stall in the chapel for life and their heraldic banners hang above their stalls. The Service of Installation takes place every four years. The Prince of Wales, as Grand Master, attends every Service and the Queen every eight years.
